The report, Wireless LANs in the Enterprise , says the revenue will grow at a CAGR of 18 percent through the forecast period. Ashok Kumar, vice president of research, Telecom Trends International, said growth of wireless LANs in the enterprise picked up in 2002, and will continue at an accelerated pace through 2008. As the chart accompanying this press release shows, Wi-Fi systems will have 50 percent of the share in 2008, followed by Wi-Fi devices which will have 31 percent of the share. The share of Wi-Fi support services will be 19 percent. In June, TTI plans to release two Wi-Fi reports one focused on the enterprise and the other on the public domain market.
