Infowave announces new wireless e-mail and calendar software
Sept 5, 2002 … “The market for wireless PDAs is exploding, with wireless PDAs rapidly approaching half of the total PDA shipments”, said Naqi A. Jaffery, President, Telecom Trends International (www.telecomtrends.net). “From 2003 onwards, wireless PDAs will constitute the majority of PDA shipments. Those devices that are operating system or network centric will have little chance of success,” Jaffery said. “The fact that Infowave Mobile Messaging is operating system and network agnostic reduces customer risk, and should spur widespread adoption.”
