Stats and Maps Information Service (SMIS) is an offering for the US market with the following portfolio of products. Users may subscribe to only one of them.

• Mobile Carrier Stats (MCS)
• Mobile Carrier Maps (MCM)
• Mobile Carrier Stats & Maps (MCSM)
  

Mobile Carrier Stats and Maps (MCSM) provide maps of actual cellular carrier coverage deployment in each market by MSA/RSA or MTA/BTA and the data associated with the coverage.

Two separate datasets are maintained, one representing 800MHz deployments and the other representing PCS deployments.

Data Elements include:

• MapInfo objects representing US wireless carrier coverage footprints in the 800MHz and PCS frequencies, maintained in separate datasets
• The technology type used by the carrier in the market (CDMA, TDMA, GSM/GPRS, CDMA1X, IDEN, EDGE, etc.)
• Service Band, A-B for 800MHz, A-F for PCS and SMR (Nextel and Southern Link)
• POPs by BTA for each market
• Area square miles of each market
